In pursuit of my recent passion for Dubstep music, I have decided to initiate my own record label to sign artists that want to pursue this unique style of music. A current trend that I see is Dubstep with a hip-hop feel. I really love this style. I currently produce songs as CounterGroove and I am working with an artist from the Orlando area who goes by the alias "Fivel". His smooth hip-hop sounds are also influenced by his house music background. Although he has many cultural influences, I believe he has a style that is very marketable. Also, I am co-producing an artist who goes by the name of Sledgegrammer who is currently in the studio working on tracks that have a harder style. My influences are Glitch Mob, Foreign Beggars and Bassnectar. Also, I love the work of Tiesto and BT and more recently Deadmau5, who originally sparked my interest in electronic music. In my studio I use a Mac Book Pro and Apple Logic Pro for sound production with hundreds of plug-ins, a digital mixer, a Focusrite Pro40 interface and a Korg Triton workstation. My background is in video production and web-site design. I have a passion for Motion Graphics and have certifications in Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects. I also use Illustrator, Photoshop, Trapcode software and am working in Cinema 4D. As this is a new site, I will soon be posting some of my graphics work.
