In pursuit of my recent passion for Dubstep music, I have decided to initiate my own record label to sign artists that want to pursue this unique style of music. A current trend that I see is Dubstep with a hip-hop feel. I really love this style. I currently produce songs as CounterGroove and I am working with an artist from the Orlando area who goes by the alias "Fivel". His smooth hip-hop sounds are also influenced by his house music background. Although he has many cultural influences, I believe he has a style that is very marketable. Also, I am co-producing an artist who goes by the name of Sledgegrammer who is currently in the studio working on tracks that have a harder style. My influences are Glitch Mob, Foreign Beggars and Bassnectar. Also, I love the work of Tiesto and BT and more recently Deadmau5, who originally sparked my interest in electronic music. In my studio I use a Mac Book Pro and Apple Logic Pro for sound production with hundreds of plug-ins, a digital mixer, a Focusrite Pro40 interface and a Korg Triton workstation. My background is in video production and web-site design. I have a passion for Motion Graphics and have certifications in Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects. I also use Illustrator, Photoshop, Trapcode software and am working in Cinema 4D. As this is a new site, I will soon be posting some of my graphics work.

Time has been running short but I felt it necessary to make an update for those of you who actually do check my site from time to time. Long story short, the team and I are revamping the studio to facilitate a full on Audio / Visual performance. We have been getting in contact with some major players in the industry and Countergroove and Fivel have the PR guy on their side now. Please stay tuned as there will be a huge site revamp coming before the years end. Its been a long time coming but its sure to be an unforgettable experience and growth to our community.

End of Year Studio Revisions.

Hey everyone! thanks for sticking in there with us! The Team and I are working really hard to finalize all the paperwork for our forthcoming releases. We are in the process of revamping a major portion of the studio to enhance productivity and hopefully get extra bangin’ new tracks out to you by the first of the year! Aren’t you excited?! Well you should be!

Just in cast you didnt know, or I havent been as clear as to where you can find most of the new music I have been putting out, you can hit up my Soundcloud Page for a slough of tracks, some of which wont be featured on my EP!

.. a quick update

Hey everyone, just wanted to post a quick update of whats been going on in the studio:

I recently signed on 2 electronic music artists, Fivel and Sledgegrammar, both of which are working hard in their studio’s and at the CounterGROOVE Music HQ to lay down some tracks. Why you may ask? One of the major works in progress is a Studio Collaboration CD I will be releasing via physical CD and digital download. Be sure to check back early next year for the final outcome!

As for my personal work, I would like to take the time to share with you guys my several social sites and maybe get you hooked up with our community as well as maybe give you all some creative inspiration.
